This message appears when Forepost can’t reach its AI service.
- Check that your internet connection is active.
- Click the Regenerate button to try generating the Brief again.
- If the error persists, refresh the page and try once more.

The Brief is generated from the data in your workspace. Generic output usually means the metrics or agent data hasn’t been filled in yet.
- Go to ⚙ Settings → Update metrics and enter your current figures.
- Scroll to Update team and confirm you have at least one agent with a name entered.
- Click Save changes.
- Return to the dashboard and regenerate the Brief.

This indicates a temporary issue reaching the AI service.
- Re-send your message by clicking the send button again.
- If the error appears again, refresh the page and retype your question.

The Team view only displays agents who have a name entered in Settings.
- Go to ⚙ Settings → Update team.
- Check that each agent row has a value in the Name field.
- If the section is empty, click + Add agent and fill in at least a name for each team member.
- Click Save changes.

Headcount Calculator shows "Breach in 80+ weeks"
This result means that at your current growth rate, your team’s capacity won’t be exceeded for at least 80 weeks. It’s not an error — it reflects a scenario where current AI deflection and headcount are sufficient for the foreseeable future.To model a more demanding scenario, increase the weekly growth rate slider in the calculator. A higher growth rate will bring the projected breach date closer and let you stress-test your resourcing plan.

Changes to your workspace are only stored when you explicitly save them.
- Make sure you’ve clicked the Save changes button at the bottom of the Settings page — not just edited the fields.
- Look for the ✓ Saved confirmation that appears after a successful save.
- If you navigated away before saving, return to Settings and re-enter your changes.

- Double-check your email address and password for typos.
- If you registered using a social account (such as Google), use the same social sign-in option — you won’t be able to sign in with a password for that account unless you set one separately.
- If you’ve forgotten your password, use the password reset flow on the sign-in page at app.forepost.ai.

- Check that your internet connection is active.
- Click the generation button again to retry.
- Go to ⚙ Settings → Update metrics and confirm you have metrics entered — the Board Pack requires workspace data to produce meaningful output.
- Click Save changes in Settings if you made any updates, then try generating the Board Pack again.
