What data does Forepost use to generate the Daily Brief?
What data does Forepost use to generate the Daily Brief?
The Daily Brief is generated from the metrics and team data you’ve entered in your workspace — specifically your ticket volume, CSAT score, first response time, AI deflection rate, open ticket count, agent utilisation, and the names and individual scores of each agent you’ve added. The more complete and current your data, the more specific and useful the Brief will be.
How often should I update my metrics?
How often should I update my metrics?
Update your metrics once a week, ideally at the start of each week after pulling the latest numbers from your support platform. The AI Brief and Board Pack draw on whatever figures you’ve entered in Settings, so fresher data produces more accurate and relevant insights. If a key metric changes significantly mid-week — such as a spike in open tickets — you can update it at any time.
Can I add more than 10 agents?
Can I add more than 10 agents?
Currently, each workspace supports up to 10 agents. If your team is larger, add your highest-priority agents — for example, those you’re actively reviewing or whose metrics are driving your CX KPIs this week.
What support platforms does Forepost work with?
What support platforms does Forepost work with?
During setup you declare your primary support platform: Intercom, Zendesk, HubSpot, or Other. Forepost uses this to contextualise AI responses and frame recommendations in the right language. Forepost does not connect directly to any of these platforms — you enter your metrics manually in Settings.
Does Forepost pull data directly from my support tool?
Does Forepost pull data directly from my support tool?
No. You enter your metrics manually in the Update metrics section of Settings. This keeps setup instant — there’s nothing to connect or authenticate — and gives you full control over what data informs your AI outputs. Simply update the numbers in Settings each week to keep your Brief and Board Pack accurate.

My Daily Brief seems off — what should I check?
My Daily Brief seems off — what should I check?
The Brief reflects exactly the data you’ve entered in Settings. If the content feels generic or doesn’t match your current situation, go to ⚙ Settings → Update metrics and check that your figures are up to date. Also confirm you’ve added at least one agent with a name in the Update team section. Click Save changes after any edits.
What does 'breach date' mean in the Headcount Calculator?
What does 'breach date' mean in the Headcount Calculator?
The breach date is the point at which your projected human ticket volume is expected to exceed your current team’s capacity, given the utilisation ceiling you’ve set. It tells you how long you have before you’ll need to hire additional agents or increase your AI deflection rate to keep pace with demand.
Is my data secure?
Is my data secure?
Your workspace data — metrics, agent details, and company settings — is stored in your account and is only used to generate your personal AI outputs. Forepost does not share your data with other users or workspaces.
